Our approach to public consultation is based on a set of best-practices principles. These principles seek to clearly identify where the public has influence on design decisions, as distinguished from public information. The design of public consultation programmes is based on fulsome disclosure of the design process and design decisions. This process is understood to be a truth-testing of the deign process.
